     ROBERT CRAIS: THE WATCHMAN TOUR: QUAIS DU POLAR

     RC was one of two American guests (along with novelist Daniel Woodrell) invited to attend the prestigious Quais du Polar International Festival of Noir in Lyon, France. Participants from around the world gathered in Paris, then took the train to Lyon. It was a busy affair with much to coordinate.
 
Here, RC's French publicist organizes his schedule as they train to Lyon. When RC reached Lyon, he signed at the Virgin Megastore where he found this Godzilla-size poster of himself waiting. Too bad it wouldn't fit on the plane! Is this a Joe Pike sighting in Lyon?! Nope, just RC in those killer sunglasses!
     
One of RC's panel appearances was with the talented Irish writer, John Connelly. The woman in red was RC's translator. John Connelly, RC, and English writer Mark Billingham about to enjoy lunch. And fabulous French wine. RC with the incredible Anne Perry. And more wine.
     
   
And, finally, the beautiful city of Lyon.
